Yes, when you complete the registration process, you will receive a user name and a password. You are the only one licensed to use this password.

We have instructions for what to do if you forget your user name or your password.

Individual Registrants can sign up for alerts and set up Favorite Journals.

If your institution subscribes, you will automatically have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching (including GeoRef), full text display, PDFs, and future tables of contents. You'll also see a line at the top of the page confirming you're signed in as part of an institution.
