Seismological Research Letters Archive Content Posted On GeoScienceWorld

ALEXANDRIA, VA – GeoScienceWorld is pleased to announce the availability of the Seismological Research Letters (SRL) archive content: – v. 66, 1995 through v.74, 2003 – for a total of 54 issues. This journal was originally published by the Eastern Section of the Seismological Society of America (SSA) as Earthquake Notes before becoming part of SRL. This batch gives GeoScienceWorld a complete archive of the issues since the national society assumed the publication. The older, Eastern Section issues are expected to follow at a later date. SSA also publishes the Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America (BSSA) on GeoScienceWorld.

Susan Newman, Executive Director of SSA states, "Researchers in earthquake science and engineering continue to reference older research and information in a way that may not be true in many other sciences. The back issues of our other journal, BSSA, back to 1911 are still used and valued by the community and there has been keen interest in making SRL archives available as well."

The contents of SRL include contributed articles on topics of broad seismological interest, opinion pieces on current seismological topics, News and Notes about seismology in the U.S. and internationally, Transitions notes about seismologists, special earthquake reports, and letters to the editor.
