Seismological Research L etters is Now on GeoScienceWorldAlexandria, Va. – GeoScienceWorld (GSW) is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the 36th online geoscience journal on its web site, http://www.geoscienceworld.org: Seismological Research Letters (SRL), which is fully-searchable through GSW’s online portal of geoscience journals at http://srl.geoscienceworld.org. The full-text of SRL is freely available to all until February 13, 2008; after that date, full-text will be available only to GSW subscribers. SRL is published bimonthly by the Seismological Society of America (SSA) and it provides a unique focus on topics with broad seismological and earthquake engineering appeal. SSA is a scientific society devoted to the advancement of seismology and its applications in understanding and mitigating earthquake hazards and in imaging the structure of the Earth. In addition to contributed papers with broad appeal, SRL includes opinion pieces on current issues, rapid reports on recent earthquakes and regular columns on topics such as earthquake education and the history of seismology. SSA's primary research journal, Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America , is already available on GSW.GeoScienceWorld is an online resource for research and communications in the geosciences, built on a core aggregation of high-impact, peer-reviewed journals that are indexed, linked, and interoperable with the GeoRef bibliographic database.
